We enjoy so much meeting new friends, That is why the theme of this quest house is “Friends”, This is a cozy comfortable guest house that is well maintained. Offers a beautiful view of lake. Makes you want to stretch out with your favorite book and relax like you never have before, and never leave. We want you to feel comfortable, and we want you to come back, It gives us great joy to be able to share such a quality little space with our friends, This is equipped with the basic items, and we will do our best to accommodate you, and make you enjoy your stay.
Kitchen-- hot plate refrigerator bar sink, plates glasses silverware, toaster coffee pot.
Living -- Stereo, clock radio, TV, vhs/dvd with movies available.
Sleeping--King Size bed and window couch includes sheets and blankets
Bath--Shower sink and toilet
Heat-- boiler plus gas wall furnace
Montmorency County
This is the only county in lower Michigan that you can ride on the shoulder of all county roads to get to the trails, gas stations bars and restaurants, on a snow mobile or an ORV or dirt bike. We respect this privilege, and encourage everyone to do the same.
Ess Lake
All sports lake near Hillman, 54’ deep 133 acres of clear spring fed water, close to snowmobile and MC/ORV trails, 1 hour to skiing. On Saturday Night we will fire the wood fired Sauna (sow-na) or upon special request. On Sauna night you will enjoy a bowl of my special chili and home made bread after a day on the trails or slopes or ice fishing. Or being out doors. You will find restaurants in each direction.
Hiking, cross country skiing, down hill skiing, hunting, fishing, boating, golfing snowmobile, swimming, snorkeling, diving.
If you are not into sports you may select this as a place to hang out and read-relax get away, or a central place to come back to after some day trips to Mackinac, Ocqueoc Falls, or the Casinos.

No Smoking , No pets, , equipped to sleep 3 people Friday 1:00 -Following Friday 11:00 PM Call If you want this reserved then we will do this with a 50 % Non refundable deposit . Because of the stairs and Sauna we have a waiver of liability that must be signed.
We want you to leave “Friends” in the condition that it was found, we will respect your stay and we request you respect ours and our neighbors as well.
